MASS EFFECT
It is the year 2170. Thirteen years have passed since the First Contact War which introduced Humans to the galactic playing field through a violent and bloody war with the Turians. Since then, Humans have expanded their political and militant reach, establishing themselves with the Council, even researching biotics, all to integrate themselves amongst the known races of the galaxy. But Humans are not the only ones who struggle. The rest of the galaxy, too, has its own conflicts.
The longstanding goal of galaxy-wide sustainability, stability, and equality has become more than simple re-evaluation of diplomacies or development and advancement of individual societies and technology – a schism in philosophies has formed between those of the Council and Terminus Systems. A division that has led to each faction creating their own separate forces to ensure that this goal will still be achieved. Rallying points have formed for all people of all races to pursue their own interests or that of the galaxy; each person holds the potential to be the catalyst that moves the wheels of history, taking the universe towards a destination that has yet to be known.
