Greetings, fellow Noctavians! Brand new here, I am. Feeling free to call me Chi, as she's likely going to be my only character unless another idea strikes my fancy. Erm, not much to say about me...I can't get through Pokemon Black to save my life, I got creamed by Whitney in Soul Silver because I stubbornly refused to use any Pokemon other than my Quilava and Fearow.
I am a big fan of small teams, and the first time I beat the Elite Four in Soul Silver, my team consisted of only four Pokemon. My Meganium [Cherry], my Graveller [Bones], my Jolteon [Evan], and my Lugia [Whirl.] Then I caught a ditto and bred Evan to get Night, my Umbreon. 8X
Pokemon Emerald was the first game I got all the way through though. Okami was the first game I've ever beaten, and I'll admit that I'm perhaps not a 'gamer'. I prefer games like Okami and Pokemon over Halo and C.O.D. The most high tech thing I own is my Nintendo 3DS, which is pretty cool if I do say so myself.
I generally listen to most everything but Blues and Rap. I'll listen to rap only if it's Eminem or Remember The Name by Fort Minor. I am more of a Country fan than anything, and my favorite singers are Toby Keith and Trace Adkins. Trace is like, the only guy I know that can pull off such a long pony tail and still look dead sexy.
Uh, this was way longer than it was supposed to be. xD My favorite color is silver and the last book I read was Brisinger, which was more of a re-read than anything.

Hi Chione! Welcome to Noctis. I'm Elizabeth, but you can call me Liz.
I'd suggest getting better acquainted with the general rules if you haven't already.
Basically, as long as you have fun and play nice with the other kiddies, you won't hear too much from me or the other staff. <3
Hope you enjoy your stay here on Noctis. If you have any questions, you can refer to the FAQ or ask me or the other staff.

Hey there. Nice to see you here.
I am not too focused on any particular number of teammates at the moment. I always used to have a team of six, thinking the more the merrier I suppose, but since I have started Ruby and Sapphire for the first time in a long, long while, my team is no greater than five. With one HM whore, sometimes two. This definitely makes it easier to get them to level up quicker.
I might end up making this a tradition from now on, as it seems to be working well. Though I'd still prefer six on my team, just to have another thing that would represent me, but the requirement for HMs would also make that a nuisance, unless I can teach them to my main party.
I've played and beaten Red and Blue back in the day. Fond memories. I don't remember the first game I ever beat. I'm thinking it may have been the racing game Top Gear 2 for the SNES.
Music-wise. I don't necessarily have a definite genre of which to call my favorite. I lack much interest in country or rap, but those genres do have some songs I appreciate. I mostly listen to electronica/techno/trance/cyber/grunge, German and Swedish music, and military music.
Anyway, glad to have you here and hear from you and all. I hope you find this place worthy of an eternal stay, and if not, just let anybody know. We don't close ourselves off here, and some of use know each other in real life.

Stiefeln, you listen to a lot of the same music as one of my oldest friends. She's given me a dose of appreciation for those genres, to be sure. Neither of us really listens to anything but English, though she does like Japanese music as well, but I may just have to try out German and Swedish, if you have any songs to recommend.
Thank you to the both of you for your warm welcomes!

Hi Chi! : ) Oh man you've played Okami? I love Okami soooooo much! *_* The art in that game is absolutely stunning and I loved the story! I play games for their story most of the time so I like weird games like Ace Attorney and Professor Layton and oh man I beat Ghost Trick the other game, fan-fucking-tastic - [/rambles on and on]
Anyway, I know a handful of people who like small teams too, and I can never handle having a small team. D: There are way too many pokemon I like to use that I often have more than six pokemon trained up and I just cycle through them. Six pokemon on hand is never enough for me ffff I like too many pokemon. xDDD
On here though, I can see myself preferring a small team. : )
Welcome to Noctis! We hope you enjoy your stay here~

I completely agree on your thoughts about Okami. It's such a beautiful world that I absolutely adore exploring, time and time again. I love the characters and their surprising depth, but I've always been a bit skeptical about the sequel. From what I've heard, it's basically the same thing you did in the first game, and wasn't what I was expecting. I would have loved to go about restoring the Diving Plain like you did down in Nippon instead of playing off the old cliche of 'my son carries on my legacy, rawr' sort of thing. I kind of want to buy it, and king of don't. Have you ever played it? Any thoughts?

Welcome to Noctis, Chi! I'm Nekayne and I do nothing.
I usually beat my games within a couple days. I'm one of those people that can't just play for a couple minutes and be satisfied. I sometimes switch between half and full teams depending.
Anyways, hope you enjoy it here! Sorry for my delayed greeting. Being out of town without Internet is terrible.
