The Professors TrioHere the profiles of the Professors of Winchester will be posted for general viewing. Since the professors are NPCs (non-playing characters), they are only to be roleplayed by the moderators. An average user is not allowed to roleplay them, and if a staff member catches you playing their role (this is considered power-playing), you will be punished accordingly. They are available here as a reference to the mods who may roleplay them. Each professor has their own unique character and must be roleplayed accordingly. If you seem to have any troubles getting into character, contact either Nekayne, Kittie, or I. Character design is by Nekayne, Kittie, and I respectively. Thank you for reading and respecting our site.

Professor Ann Sequioa at a glance; ☼ Age: 21 ☼ Sex: Female ☼ Species: Human ☼ Occupation: Pokemon Professor - specializes in driving her colleagues crazy ☼ Hometown: Winchester Town ☼ Hair color: Brunette ☼ Eye color: Cerulean
Professor Sequioa is fairly young for her profession at the age of twenty-one. She’s considered a “newbie” at her current place of employment. She works at the local laboratory in Winchester Town along with her colleagues Professors' Cedar and Cypress. Some who have met her have declared her insane, but she tries to ignore the negativity of other's opinions and refuses to go to the hospital for an emergency evaluation. She's an extreme optimist; her vivacious attitude is a constant. On very rare occasions is she seen as anything but obscenely cheerful. She never has an unkind word to say about anyone or anything. At heart, she's a very sweet and caring person. She's simply extremely affectionate and has a tendency to give people the wrong impression.
Pokemon are her passion. As a child, she would bring stray pokemon into her home and care for them until they recovered enough to let her safely introduce them back into the wild. Her parents tolerated it only for so long—the creatures that she brought home weren’t always in the best condition, nor did they always appreciate her efforts to tame them. Needless to say, the situation quickly spiraled out of control. The final (and fatal) act that swayed them to make an ultimatum was when they had to drive their bawling youngster to the emergency room after one of her foster “pets” attacked her. She received a number of stitches and a long, nagging lecture for her attempts to tame a rather aggressive houndor. Afterwards, she was no longer allowed to bring any more pokemon home. Her parents would not allow her to get a word in edgewise on the subject. This didn’t totally dissuade her from dreaming, however. She idolized the current professor(s) at the local laboratory in her hometown and would volunteer to assist the laboratory over the summers. Her only dream as a youngster was to become the professor of her hometown and because of her passionate desire to achieve this goal, she strived to become just that. She studied abroad for four years at the university in Virtuoso City to obtain her nursing degree. As soon as she she graduated she returned to her hometown and was almost immediately hired into the job that she works as today.
Professor Sequoia is pretty by most standards; she has a round face, large pink lips, a cute button nose, and almost disarmingly large cerulean eyes. She will occasionally wear make-up to accentuate her natural beauty, but only when she leeks like enduring the chore of putting it on. Her hair color was originally brown, but she decided on a whim to dye it a darker brunette. Her hair is long, thick, and very wavy. It reaches past her hips in the back and cascades past her shoulders and across breasts in the front. Her bangs are parted in the middle and frame her round face, curling slightly at the tips. She isn’t exactly selective when it comes to style, although she prefers to wear it up on hotter days. She refues to cut it, and will often trim it herself.
Sequoia is a petite girl, standing at a short 5'1". She bears a girlish, slim figure with small but perky breasts and a slight waist. Her attire is always bright and vibrant, mirroring her personality. She likes to wear "girly" attire: skirts, dresses, and cute tops and blouses. She always wears her lab coat due to the laboratory's employee policy on uniforms--they must be worn when the person is working. Accessories are unlimited. She likes sparkling jewelry and is indifferent to whether something is silver or gold, as long as it appeals to her seagull mentality. Due to her weak eye sight, she is required to wear oval-shaped glasses with thin rims. Occasionally, however, she will wear contacts, but that's only when she is unable to find her glasses. She prefers her glasses over her contacts and becomes slightly annoyed when she's forced to resort to her contacts.
[ Miscellaneous Notes ]
- When speaking, her font is yellow. She has a high voice that can be extremely irritating.
- She's tone deaf. She likes to sing but her singing voice is horrible.
- She's obsessed with the movie the Sound of Music and enjoys watching it whenever possible.
- She likes romantic comedies, Disney flicks, and cartoons.
- She likes upbeat, happy music and is indifferent to genre. As long as it has a cheerful melody and decent lyrics, she'll listen to it and play it at the laboratory, much to the chagrin of her colleagues.
- She's a hopeless romantic at heart, but prefers her Pokemon over most men.
- She loves most holidays and will celebrate them if able. She'll even decorate the laboratory with holiday themes when they're occurring.
- She loves sweets and pastries. She often visits the local bakery to pick up various goods. She's one of their most loyal customers, and is tolerated by the staff because of the good business they receive from her.
- Sequoia considers the pokemon that she fosters to be her children. She raises them from infancy, nurtures them, cherishes and loves them. Because of this, she will spend up to weeks simply worrying and wondering about the pokemon that she's given to starting trainers. Sometimes, she has difficulties coping and will refuse to sleep for days at a time. She's well aware of the main consensus of people's opinions on her: she knows how unstable people perceive to be and sometimes wonders if they're right. She does not always love her job -- in fact, there are times when she truly wishes that she could retire and simply open a foster shelter. It's at this point where she's more prone to having breakdowns; she's only human, after all, and she can't cope with everything.

Professor Celeste Cypress ҂ Age: 29 ҂ Sex: Female ҂ Species: Human ҂ Occupation: Pokemon Professor - specializes in pokemon genetics ҂ Hometown: Mazelina City ҂ Hair Colour: Pale blonde, almost white; falls to the small of her back ҂ Eye Colour: Dark slate grey ҂ "Speaks in a soft and subtle thistle, never seems to raise her voice."
Celeste is renowned for her work with degenerative diseases in pokemon. She has spent her academic life working with a variety of genetic conditions affecting a wide range of pokemon. Though her research papers are prolific, she always seems to return to studying progressive blindness in pokemon. Her younger brother Jayden was born with poor eyesight that quickly faded into complete blindness by the time he was twenty. She hopes that someday her research will make a breakthrough in the prevention and treatment for degenerative diseases in both pokemon and people alike.
Many people find Celeste's demeanour unnerving. Although perfectly friendly, she is strangely quiet at all times. Very few people have ever heard her raise her soft voice above its normal modest tone. She travels as quietly as she speaks, often resulting in her spooking people that hadn't realized she was there. Her dark eyes are also quite offsetting, along with her ghostly hair and pale skin. People have called her appearance ghostly. But her appearance is as far as this juxtaposition extends; she is perfectly sociable and enjoys the company of her colleagues, even if she is somewhat short-spoken.
[ Miscellaneous Notes ]
- Cypress is incredibly fond of her colleagues; they are her closest friends and she would do almost anything for them.
- Her guilty pleasure is extremely trashy romance novels. She tries her hardest to hide this.
- Her hair is rarely seen in any style other than down. It flows out behind her slightly if she is walking particularly fast.
- Cypress is a workaholic, but the late nights don't seem to affect her very much.
- Her mother is an artist; Cypress inherited none of her talents, but still enjoys doodling, however horrible the result.
- She has no patience for rudeness. If you're being impudent she will show you the door.
- While she has never fought in a pokemon battle, she used to compete in contests and understands the principles of battling.
- Both Cypress and her brother have a deep love for dark pokemon.
- Cypress used to fancy becoming a professional pokemon coordinator. However, it was a combination of attending a few lectures by some pokemon professors, along with Cal's disease, that lead her to decide studying pokemon genetics was her true calling.
҂ POKEMON PARTY
Calix the MightyenaMale//Level 30//Intimidate Tackle -- Howl -- Sand-Attack -- Bite -- Odor Sleuth -- Roar -- Swagger Cal is Cypress' first and only pokemon, and her pride and joy in pokemon contests. Or, he was a master of the contest ring before he started to lose his vision. Much like Cypress' younger brother, Calix had a retinal degenerative disease that caused him to eventually completely lose his vision. After the loss of his sight, Cal had a near-impossible time handling any sort of pokemon contest. Cypress didn't have the heart to go out and get another pokemon to train to be her contest partner. Instead, she keeps Cal around the lab as a pet and companion. Calix is fiercely loyal to Cypress, and has a good deal of affection toward his masters colleagues as well.

Professor Sica Cedar ҂ Age: 26 ҂ Sex: Female ҂ Species: Human ҂ Occupation: Pokemon Professor - specializes in Pokemon Technology ҂ Hometown: Olivine City ҂ Hair Colour: Chestnut brown, just touches her collarbone, kept in messy waves. ҂ Eye Colour: Grey-blue. Requires glasses. ҂ "Speaks with lax cornflowerblue and her normal tone sounds irritated."
Professor Cedar is your typical strong, silent type. In casual conversation, she doesn't tend to speak much and prefers to use the least amount of words possible to convey her point. When it comes to her job or professionalism, however, Professor Cedar tends to drag things out which is surprising to those that know her outside of the workplace. It's not that the Professor is anti-social. It's just that she prefers modest, quiet occasion and relaxation than loud and flashy. She tried to 'fit in' with the town's cheeriness but it often makes her extremely tired so she had long ago given up.
Professor Cedar is obsessed with technology and it's uses. She has studied Technology and, more significantly, how technology can be used to close the gap between human and Pokemon relations. She has many Pokeball prototypes that she works on as well as a communicator that would translate between human and Pokemon speech. Whether this invention will be created in the future is unknown.
[ Miscellaneous Notes ]
- Professor Cedar is a lover of Electric Types.
- Cedar is adopted and had struggled to accept the new fact several years ago.
- She can often be found taking apart household appliances and leaving the mess around.
- She doesn't know how to ride a bike.
- Cedar doesn't show interest in men or women. It's unknown what her preference is.
- Cedar came in second place for the Top Scholar award at her high school graduation. She lost by .2%. She's still mad about this.
- She doesn't like her feet. She doesn't like your feet. Do not show her feet.
- Don't show her worms, either.
- As a child, Cedar always thought that the sound aerosol cans make was from a little man living inside them going "fffsssssss".
