Well, hi!

Hey, everyone!
Jus' thought I'd take a break from setting up my character to just introduce myself. c: So, PROCRASTINATION AHOY~

I'm Tales, sixteen and living in Manchester, England. I'm obsessed with video games and horror and Disney films. In literally less than a week or so, I'm starting my first year of college! I'm scurred as Hell, but finally happy to be out of that stuffy High School. ouo b For my first year of college, I'm studying Law, Psychology, Biology and Chemisty. I'm hoping to take up a job in psychiatry in the future, although my parents are pushing me towards a Dentist. bluhbluhbluh

I am the owner of a zoo, as my Mum calls it. We have three dogs; Jasper a Bichon Frise, Gizmo a Yorkshire Terrier and Bear (Burr) a Shih Tzu. A Hermann Tortoise called Trumpets, two hamsters named Satan and Hippo and a Pygmy Hedgehog named Sonic. We were so original with Sonic's name, took us two days to decide, would you believe.

Moving on! I'm an avid videogamer, Pokémon definitely being up there as one of my favourites. Some of my other favourites (that I can remember) are Deadly Premonition, Fallout, Mass Effect, Uncharted, Dead Rising, Metal Gear and others! Although, I'm very into the Survival Horror genre of games, so games like Resident Evil (Anyone waiting for 6? )and Silent Hill are way up there in my list o' lovelies. <3 I have a huge game collection that I treasure morethanmyself quite a fair deal. They're srs bsns, guize. Despite this and the time I pump into my games, I still suck. Majorly.

I've been role-playing for Jesus knows how long. I decided little over a year ago that I'd need to sit out for a while to focus on exams, so I'm kinda coming out of a looong hiatus. But! I'll kick myself, multiple times, to make sure my posts are up to a standard that doesn't make anyone want to cry!

Anyways, enough of my ramblings! I really can't wait to RP with some of you, I love the site and you all seem like such wonderful people! <3

Ohh you live in England? That's pretty cool. Most of the people on the site are all over the place. I live in Washington, USA myself. Right in the middle of the desert. It suuucks. |D

HORROR GAMES FUCK YES. As long as someone else is playing, I don't mind watching. ; Too pansy to play them myself. AND DISNEY MOVIES. HORROR AND DISNEY MOVIES. That is the biggest conundrum ever but I don't care because I love both too. I'm more interested in horror books and art rather than video games though.

Don't worry too much about meeting a word count or having super top quality posts all the time. :B We're pretty lenient here. If you have any questions to ask regarding the site, don't be afraid to ask. We (as in us, the staff) are pretty friendly and well, we hope you enjoy your stay at Noctis. <3

Tagger - Thanks a bunch! Your characters, from what I seen look amaazing, so yeah, pretty excited there. As for Fallout 2, I don't think I've ever seen a physical copy, so I'm pretty jelly. D8

@midnight - Aha, I know, I wonder that myself quite a lot sometimes.

England's a pretty meh place, I'm hoping to move over to the US pretty much as I'm done with college/hit 18-19. But from what I've heard about that place is it's fairly cold. xD I get so testy in the heat, so I could never live in a desert, supermega props to you! D8

I'm very funny with games, I love watching people play them, but if I have to play, it has to be on my own. I get super self conscious, because I'm such a strange person. c: I thought the exact same about Disney and Horror movies, but being practically force-fed Disney films as I was growing up, they're still pretty close to me and Horror movies are just too cool, so. xD I've /recently/ gotten pretty heavily into reading Zombie stories/books.

Thanks very muchly, I've been okay for now but thank you. I'll definitely keep in mind to try and get in touch with a Staffie if I'm completely lost. Aha, thanks again, though! c:

Ehh it's not TOO bad where I live, but yeah, I don't like the heat either, so it's not that great. And it kinda depends on what kinda climate you plan on moving into when get the chance to come over. :/ I wish you the best of luck, though, where ever you move to.

Awwh I get self-conscious when other people watch me play video games too. xD Then again I don't play video games that often since all we have is a Wii and Nintendo DS (wooow lame, I know).

Disney movies are the best though. :C Well, most of them... the live-action stuff kinda makes me want to screech because it's so horribly cheesy, but meh. What are your favorite movies, btw? :U I'm always up for recommendations.

ZOMMBIIESS. They're the plague of the Internet, haha. I mean, if you can pull 'em off okay then cool. Otherwise it's like, "oh god why."

Actually, my copy of Fallout 2 is digital, got it from GOG.com. Good Old Games, a download service like Steam, which mostly does older games but with no DRM, is the best value you can get for Fallout games. The Fallout Classics Pack (found on Steam and in a physical bundle) costs $20 USD. On GOG, you can get all three games for $6 USD each, though the price will be halved on Interplay sale weekends, whenever they come up. Also, do look into Planescape: Torment, a game by the same company that made the original Fallouts, Black Isle.

And since Vinnie and Mordecai come from the same region, with Vinnie having passed through his hometown on his first journey, wanna do some plotting with them? XD

I've forced my parents into buying consoles for me because I've heard about release titles, so we have manymany consoles here. xD

Neever liked the Live Action movies too much either, myself. Far too cheesey, even for Disney, it's so crazy. For my favourite movies, I don't really have one/a few. I'm almost always running the Resident Evil Series (Live Action and CGI are both good xD). I usually turn to Asian Horrors if I'm looking for something really scary, the Grudge, The Ring, Ichi The Killer, stuff like that. :3
