» ATTENTION NOCTIS!
Something big is going down in Noctis. The region's police force has undergone a major shift. The officers have decked out entirely in black uniforms and have turned their lunar police badges into a representation of fear across the nation. The officers who have embraced this movement are calling themselves the Night Police. The officers who rejected these ideals - it is uncertain what has happened to them.
If you encounter one of these officers, do not provoke them in any way! Do as you're told, and if possible, get away from them. Be aware that they make pursue you if you seem suspicious or claim you are guilty of criminal activity or disrupting the peace. Prepare yourself for a battle if it comes to this.
» CREATE A NIGHT POLICE CHARACTER
So you want a Night Police officer character of your own? There are a few requirements that you need to meet first. Read on and see if you've done what's needed to have an officer of your very own to play.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS > Have at least one active character > Have made at least three threads in Noctis (lab doesn't count!)
If you're looking to make a basic officer who is issued a police starting pokemon, this is all you need to do. Your officer (if accepted, of course) will be sent to a board where they can choose one of five pre-selected pokemon species. Just like normal, right?
FREE CHOICE REQUIREMENTS > Have at least two active characters > Have made at least five threads in Noctis (lab doesn't count!) > Have obtained at least one gym badge with either character
If you meet these requirements, you can create an officer with a pre-existing starter! You can choose any pokemon (other than endangered types) to be your officer's partner. Awesome, right? As a bonus, this starter can be as high as level 10.
If you wish to have a Night Police character, create a profile for them as you would with any other character. Officers must be twenty (20) years of age or older.
» WHO ARE THE NIGHT POLICE?
Beginning with a small group of specialized Agents, the Night Police took a stealthy rise in the ranks of the Noctis Police Force all for one purpose: to overthrow the current force and rebuild it for themselves. Intelligent, strong, and cunning, the Agents had silently taken down anyone who would stand in their way of their cause. They grew in numbers, and in strength, until there was no choice but for the whole police force and, in turn, the government to be under their control.
But what is their cause?
The Night Police rose to power in pursuit of exposing criminals and every injustice they can lay hands on. They want to reform the nation into one where people can be truly assured there will be only peace. Believing themselves to be new-age vigilantes, the Night Police use their own tactics to enforce law and behaviour that they see fit. Anyone stepping out of line in their eyes will be taken down with silent force and eventually become missing, never to be seen or heard from again. They hold the belief that society should be kept in line by fear and control. Democracy and fair trial no longer exist.
While the Night Police originally spawned under the premise of creating peace and law, many of the police force was won over by the promises of financial gain and power. Most members of the Night Police get their excitement from holding their power over the citizens, believing that they are owed something from their service as officers.
The head of the night police, as well as their future intentions, is still unknown to the public. Details will be released as they arise.

» THE SUN WILL SHINE
Upon the rising of the Night Police, citizens have gathered in secrecy to plan and defend the people of Noctis against the Night Police. These people call themselves the ‘Sol Resistance’. Strong-willed and unable to live in fear, each fighting for their own reasons, they bravely stand up against the new tyranny raining over Noctis.
The leader of the Resistance, as well as it’s future plans, are currently unknown.
» CREATE A SOL RESISTANCE CHARACTER
So you want a Sol Resistance character of your own? There are a few requirements that you need to meet first. Read on and see if you've done what's needed to have a freedom fighter of your very own to play.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS > Have at least one active character > Have made at least three threads in Noctis (lab doesn't count!)
If you're looking to make a basic officer who is issued a resistance starter Pokemon, this is all you need to do. Your Resistance Member (if accepted, of course) will be sent to a board where they can choose one of five pre-selected pokemon species. Just like normal, right?
FREE CHOICE REQUIREMENTS > Have at least two active characters > Have made at least five threads in Noctis (lab doesn't count!) > Have a full party of Pokemon with one of your characters
If you meet these requirements, you can create a Resistance member with a pre-existing starter! You can choose any pokemon (other than endangered types) to be your Sol's partner. Awesome, right? As a bonus, this starter can be as high as level 10.
If you wish to have a Sol Resistance character, create a profile for them as you would with any other character. They must be at least 16 years of age or older. The Resistance does not want to put children in danger.

» CHANGING ALLIANCES
If you have a character already in Noctis and you would like them to join a side, there are opportunities to do so.
To join the Sol Resistance > Go to the Pokemon tent in the campgrounds and express your dedication to the Resistance. > Be at least 16 years of age > Have more than three(3) Pokemon > Be willing to put the Resistance first and the Gym/Beauty Contest circuit second.
Pre-existing characters cannot join the Night Police. These are trained officers, after all.
» LEAVING
If your character wishes to leave either the SR or NP, the following applies:
Sol Resistance > Go to the Pokemon tent in the campgrounds and state that you will be leaving OR if your character will not tell anyone, make a single post detailing their leave/escape. > In future threads, expect your character to run into Resistance NPCs more often
Night Police > Go to the briefing room to tell Captain Ross about your resignation OR if your character plans on not telling anyone, make a single post about their leave/escape. > In future threads, expect your character to run into Night Police NPCs more often. They will be aggressive. > Your character will automatically be labeled as a Resistance conspirator and will have a small bounty placed on their head. The Night Police does not tolerate resignations.
