Even though the forum isn't exactly back to being active yet, I felt I should mention my laptop decided to commit suicide, i.e the processor or motherboard has suddenly gone bad according to Dell's beep system.
I'm taking it in to Best Buy tomorrow, but I have no idea how long I'll be without a computer. I'm posting this from my barely working Sony Vaio,which is really unreliable and I'm afraid it will suddenly shut off even as I type this.
TL;DR my computer is dead and idk when it will be fixed

I wish I could get it to turn on though so I could at least back up my files. I've been forgetting to cuz I was sick for most of September, then busy for all of October and it just got away from me. My dad doesn't understand that though, and I'll have to work pretty hard to get him to pay to back up my computer. I really need what I didn't get backed up. .n.
The fact I can't get the computer to turn back on at all means the motherboard is what has gone bad, which sucks because if it was the processor I could have gotten it running again long enough to back it up.
My laptop is only a year and a half old, it shouldn't be doing any of this. unu

UPDATE; laptop has a bad motherboard as I thought, it will be sent to Best Buy's service center tomorrow morning and I should have it back by the 7th of December. I shouldn't lose anything off the hard drive since that's not the issue and they therefore will not be doing anything to it.
