The number of words it takes to level up your pokemon is being CHANGED.
Starting today, the word count for levelling up will be increased by 25 words - making the increments between levels 50 words. What does this mean? Well, you can check out the Pokemon Levels Chart to see. It has been updated with the slightly modified word count, making the amount of writing it takes to reach the higher levels more reasonable.
Why are we doing this?
As most of the things we do while getting the feel of a freeform pokemon rp, we are experimenting. Using the previous word count, we found levelling to be extremely easy, and continuing with that method would not be a sufficient challenge for trainers or their pokemon.
Instead, we've upped the word count to what we believe is a more fair and reasonable measurement of experience points. We are still experimenting as we try to pin down a good happy medium.
The new word count will take effect in any new battles that begin. If you are currently in a battle in a forum thread, anywhere on Noctis, the old word count is still in effect. |
