Kylie's eyes brimmed with tears as she packed up a few of her belongings into a spacious blue backpack. She pulled the backpack over her shoulders and stroked her sister's stuffed Teddiursa's head gently. Sadly the young woman passed the dusty pictures of her, her sister, and her grandparents sobbing quietly. "Why? Why did you leave me, I mean, sure I'm doing fine but...I guess this is goodbye." she whispered to a picture softly before picking it up and placing it in her bag. She cried softly as she locked the door of the golden delicious colored home and walked away. Leaving the clear blue waterfall city behind, in exchange for broader horizons.
She paused as she felt sparks in the air, she smirked as she blew ice crystals in the air. She spun in a small circle laughing childishly flopping down, but was jolted back up. "HEY!" she cried out shocked as she glanced back at the offender, a little Shinx. Kylie glared at the trouble maker before heading off towards Winchester Town. As she hurried through Ananta Forest a Treecko sliced razor sharp claws at her."Areceus! I hope Treecko isn't a choice of mine!" she said hurrying towards Balsam Town sweating heavily, panting slightly. The clouds in the sky shrouding her shock and exhaustion from the rest of the world.
She slipped in mud as she entered Balsam Town, landing flat on her face. Kylie felt something tug her upwards she looked up to see a Turtwig staring at her kindly. "Thanks." Kylie said smiling. She picked up a shattered chain with the had once held one of her many pendants, this one happened to have been a locket that her mother gave to her. Tears began to brim at her eyes once more a soft whimper escaping her lips as the Turtwig waddled away. She decided to hurry on her way to the lab in Winchester Town as soon as possible. Kylie looked up at the stunning orange sky as the sun set, making the grass seem ablaze.
Kylie looked with excitement at the town before her, it was stunningly different, but still similar to all the rest in a way. The tropical colored morning sky warmed her pallored face, bringing about deeper pink splotches. She stared in awe as a little Mienfoo raced by her, but stopped to stare up at her. "Hi. Do you know where Professor Trio's Lab is?" she asked sweetly. When the little Pokémon nodded she smiled gratefully and followed it towards a large wooden lodge-like building. Quietly she thanked the Pokémon and pulled out her press ID before knocking on the Mahogany door.
